Dr. Robin Everts, Manager of Applications & Technology Support at Agena Bioscience, oversees the Assays by Agena custom assay development laboratory and new customer training on the MassARRAY System. Over the last eight years, Dr. Everts has developed
genotyping, somatic mutation analysis, and DNA methylation assays for over 100 applications including pharmacogenetics. Dr. Everts is a contributor to the CDC’s Genetic Testing Reference Materials Coordination Program (GeT-RM, Pharmacogenomics
workgroup), for which he created and tested the ADME PGx Pro Panel. Dr. Everts was trained as a molecular geneticist and has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in different fields including gene expression in immunology, developmental biology,
and gene mapping.

Dr. Tara Paton is manager of the Genetic Analysis Facility at The Centre for Applied Genomics (TCAG), embedded in The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Paton has been in her role for over 10 years, overseeing a variety of genotyping
platforms in her laboratory that are applied to research studies in genetics and genome biology. Dr. Paton is also a key contributor to the team at Sick Kids that is working to implement routine clinical pharmacogenetic testing on the MassARRAY
platform. Dr. Paton is a trained molecular geneticist and has published in the fields of phylogenetics, human disease gene identification, and copy number variation.
